Sir Sam Jonah is a Ghanaian business executive and former CEO of Ashanti Goldfields Company.
He oversaw the growth of the company from a single-mine operation to a multinational and was responsible for its listing on the NYSE. He has received numerous awards, including an honorary knighthood from Queen Elizabeth II and an honorary doctorate from Imperial College London.
He has served on the boards of various international companies and has advised several African heads of state. He is currently the Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast Ghana and the Chairman of Helios Towers UK.
